The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC)’s patented protective structures and systems offer high potential for business growth and diversification. In collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), several of ERDC’s innovations have been deployed at events including the 2023 National Football League Draft, 2024 Super Bowl, and 2024 Indianapolis 500.
Business entities with manufacturing or distribution capabilities are invited to attend an informational webinar on Monday, June 17, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm CT to learn how commercialization of these technologies can be beneficial for business growth and development.
Why You Should Participate
During this webinar, attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with ERDC inventors and discover how ERDC’s streamlined licensing process makes it easier to evaluate and pursue market potential of ERDC innovations that have dual-use applicability. Participants will be introduced to the following ERDC patents:
- Ready Armor Protection Instant Deployment (RAPID), rapidly deployable protective barrier for asset protection and urban operations
- Deployable Expedient Traffic Entry Regulator (DETER), innovative and versatile barrier that provides fast protection in multiple scenarios
- Aggressor Vehicle Entry Readiness Technology (AVERT), vehicle barrier can be set up and taken down quickly at checkpoints
- Hardened Alternative Trailer Systems (HATS) Technologies, portable modular anti-ballistic shelter systems
- Modular Protective System for Overhead Cover (MPS-OHC), uniquely portable MPS provides overhead blast and fragmentation protection
- Modular Protective Systems Expedient Guard Tower (MPS-GT), lightweight rapidly constructed fighting position ideal for remote locations
- Rapidly Deployable Over Decking Systems, adjustable, configurable, and adaptable decking systems for quick deployment at austere locations
Attendees will also learn how they can submit innovative solutions for funding consideration by ERDC.
